4/4 Hugh Withycombe Cello

Hugh Withycombe is a violin maker living and making in Canberra, ACT.  He studied at the Newark International School of Violin Making, graduating in 2001 before honing his skills working for two years in London surrounded by some of the finest Italian instruments. In 2003 he returned to Australia and set up his workshop in Canberra at Gorman House Arts Centre. Hugh focuses his work energy on making new instruments with a special interest in cellos. His instruments are played across Australia and in Europe. He is a member of the Australian Violin Makers Association (AVMA).
