Very rare opportunity. Left-handed instrument produced and sold by the iconic violin making institution of A E Smith Sydney
This instrument as a fine example of German workmanship using high-grade timbers and materials.
The Violin is believed to have been purchased in the late 1940s new, and remained with the same person until now remaining in virtually mint condition to this day.
Usually Leftys forced to adapt to the "conventional" way of playing. However a few players do use their instruments in reverse, and there are very few opportunities to find genuine original left handed instruments. This is such one!
Internally the bass bar has been originally and deliberately set under the 'g' string side. In other words this is not a conversion rather than deliberate modification from the start.
