Completed in late 2020 by Benedict G. Puglisi.
An instrument inspired by the famous cello built in 1711 by Antonio Stradivari
"Mara"

"This model is considered one of the finest examples of Straddivaris B form.
And the original is now played by the remarkable soloist Christain Poltéra
I was lucky enough to be gifted accurate measurements sketches and plaster cast of the arching and scroll from a German restoration master.
The instrument is a long pattern but very ergonomic shoulders and lower measurements. It really is an instrument that feels easy and comfortable to play.
This is the fourth time I've built this model and the playability has made an impact to all that have played them."
