3/4 Double Bass

Salieri Double Bass with solid spruce top and solid maple back and sides. 

Handcrafted with high grade maple and spruce, this Salieri Double Bass offers optimum playability and great sound.

A choice of French of German styled shoulders are available.


This instrument features:

  • Set up with Thomastik Spirocore or D'Addario Helicore strings. 
  • Highly flamed maple back and sides for strength and tone.
  • Solid spruce top for tone and responsiveness.
  • Ebony fingerboard for stability, longevity and tone.
  • Attractive violin corners.
  • "A" Grade French maple bridge with optional adjusters.
  • New sound post set for optimum tone.
  • Fingerboard reshaped.
  • Flexible tailwire for safety and tone.
    Price includes padded cover and bow.

Salieri provides three standards of timber to make their instruments.  The SB2 is made from a high-grade wood where as the SB4 is made of a superior grade wood.  The SB6 is a deluxe figured timber and thus the next step up from the SB4. All models are suitable for entry-level to advanced Double Bass players.
