Introducing the Vitruvian Three
The Atelier Puglisi showroom is now home to a new Puglisi original bass, the Vitruvian Three. Made in Benedict's highly popular Vitrivian model, the bass has recieved many positive reviews with players complimenting its dark tone and superb upper register.
Following the Vitruvian One and Vitruvian Two, this beautiful instrument was built with the player's comfort firmly in mind. A brilliant versatile Bass for all styles of playing at a professional standard.

Similarly to its predecessors, this Vitruvian Model is built on classic Italian lines with a strong influence from the Northern Italian School of making, this Bass features a highly figured carved European Maple back and matching ribs with voluptuous arching on a high grade Swiss Spruce top with mild bear claw figuring.
The Vitruvian Three is made with a flat back and is has been made with a golden brown antiqued finish.

International Jazz legend Christian McBride is now the proud owner of an original Benedict G. Puglisi Double Bass. This Bass landed in the USA early this month and is now being played by Christian.

The 2012 Vincenzo Panormo carved back Bass was first trialed by Christian in Melbourne when he was a featured artist at the 2013 International Jazz festival.

It is truly an honour to have an original instrument with this amazing musician. We are sure that there are some amazing things to come from this relationship.
